Some questions people have asked which may be of help to you

What does the onboarding look like?

This can work anyway you like. Normally we have already spoken a few times before we have engaged officially so we should have a good idea of what you need. But then find a good intro call with whoever we may be working with be it developers, product folks, marketing managers etc. Idea is we get up to speed as fast as we can so we can get going.

How do I add and manage tasks?

We use Trello to organise all the tasks and highlight when we need feedback etc. You will n need to create a Trello account to gain access but we can set this all up when we kick things off. We have an example board here.

How long does a task request take?

Annoying answer but 'it depends' on the size of the task. 'Design and build a website' is going to take longer than design a few icons, so we work with you to try and break things down into smaller chunks. This way there are more releasable outcomes from tasks rather than spending a long time in development. For example we would break down 'design a website' into 'design homepage', 'design contact page' etc and these could take a couple of days or so each. Smaller requests like producing 10 icons are turned around in a few hours normally.

How many tasks/requests are handled at once?

We have one task active at a time to keep things simple. We start a task, do the work and then send for feedback. If feedback needs to beimplemented, we work on that and send back again till you are happy. We find it's still best to keep tasks small and concise. If tasks are loaded with lots of mini tasks, it will just take longer to get them done.

How many revisions can I have on a task?

As many as needed till you are happy. Having as much information upfront in the task means we will get closer but there are always tweaks to be made so we keep going.

Can I launch a task but then work on it again?

Totally! We find this is the best way to learn so we can do rapid tasks, push them live and be working up the next version based on yours or user feedback.

I don't need any design next month, can I pause?

Yes! The idea is that we are a flexible resource so it's up to you if you want to pause for however long you need. You can pause for the next paid period. So if you are on the month-by-month subscription and say you have paid for January, just tell us before the month ends if you want to pause for February. This is handy for example we have done a good number of tasks one month and you need some time to validate and gather feedback, you can pause the following month and then we can kick off again when you have something for us to do. If you are on quarterly, you again tell us before the next payment is due you want to pause.

What are the working hours?

We are UK based and our working hours are 9:00 am - 17:00 pm GMT, Monday - Friday. If there are any bank holidays or resourcing issues, we will let you know at least 5 days in advance and the time will be bolted on to the end of the month period.
